NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported that the Browns worked out a mix of talent, with five defensive backs and one running back among the candidates. This effort underscores the Browns’ commitment to maintaining a competitive and resilient roster as the regular season approaches.

Eno Benjamin , the lone offensive player in the group, is a 5-foot-9 running back who has experience with the Arizona Cardinals , Houston Texans , and the New Orleans Saints since joining the NFL in 2021.His versatility and experience could make him a valuable addition to Cleveland's backfield.

On the defensive side, Rachad Wildgoose stands out with his three-season tenure in the NFL, having played for the New York Jets and Washington Commanders . Another experienced defensive back, Trenton Thompson , has had stints with the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers , where he recorded an interception and 22 total tackles.

The Browns also worked out Tyreque Jones , a defender with experience on four NFL teams over the past 15 months, and Myles Jones , a 6-foot-4 cornerback who recently completed his college career at Duke. Trey Dean , a 6-foot-2 safety who played at Florida until 2022, rounded out the group, seeking to make his third NFL roster.

As the Browns prepare for the regular season, these workouts highlight their proactive approach to ensuring they have the depth needed to navigate the challenges ahead. The team’s focus on addressing injuries and strengthening their roster could be key to their success in the 2024 season.
