Across the United States, high school football action is heating up including several Miami commitments playing their first or second games this weekend. One contest pits two recruits committed to Mario Cristobal and the Canes being televised by ESPN on Aug. 23 at 7:00 EST.

Quarterback Luke Nickel leads Milton (Ga.) High School against Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage and wide receiver Malachi Toney . Both are Miami commitments and accustomed to the spotlight. According to MaxPreps , Milton ranks #6 nationally and American Heritage #20.
