Eagles' Kellen Moore Praies Jalen Hurts During Camp

Philadelphia's offense has gone through a major transformation over the last few months.

That's expected to happen for a group that finished among the worst in the league against the blitz, and appeared unable to solve their problems. The good news is that 2024 has brought a new system, and fresh ideas to the group entire.

And it's brought the best out of franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Under the watchful eye of new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, Hurts has excelled in training camp as he takes control of the line of scrimmage, and leadership duties overall.

Nothing has appeared more impressed with the fifth-year signal-caller than Moore.

“Jalen just has had an excellent camp, great command of this offense, great utilization of tools when he wants to,” Moore said Tuesday.

Hurts has yet to throw an interception in training camp - a rare sight for any quarterback in a new offensive system as they try to take chances against their own defense.

Of course, when it comes to the Eagles offense, turning the ball over is the thing they are trying most to avoid from last season. Hurts turned the ball over the most in his career, so a further emphasis of that is only a smart thing for the entire franchise.

And it's why Moore's offense seems to be meshing well with the Eagles' current cast of characters.
