There's no doubt that women's basketball is on the rise, and a big reason why is because of Caitlin Clark and her incredible play for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA.

Clark has been captivating fans since her college days at Iowa, and in just a few short months, she has completely taken over the WNBA at the professional level.

It's been awesome to watch Clark's rise and how she has helped elevate women's basketball. One reporter, Chloe Peterson, was able to watch Clark firsthand during her time in college as a reporter covering Iowa's women's basketball team, and she highlighted just how big of an impact on the game Clark has had.

Ironically enough, Peterson followed Clark from Iowa to Indiana, as she now covers the star rookie guard on the Fever in the WNBA.

Clark's final two seasons with the Hawkeyes certainly earned her a bunch of attention, but as Peterson details here, folks covering the school knew right away just how big Clark would become.

And sure enough they were right, as Clark continues to grab headlines with her dominant performances on a nightly basis in her first year with the Fever.
