There are always a few particular games on the college football regular season schedule that fans circle on their calendars, and this year, it looks like Ohio State vs. Oregon is set to be one of those games.

While the contest isn't slated to take place until October 12th, fans are already getting themselves hyped for a clash between two of the best teams in the nation this year.

Given all the buzz surrounding this game already, it shouldn't be a surprise that a big announcement has recently been made for this game. It was revealed on Tuesday night that the game will be broadcast on NBC at 7:30 PM EST, meaning that this will be a nationally televised game.

This shouldn't necessarily come as much of a surprise, as Ohio State and Oregon are both widely considered to be among the top five teams in college football this season.

Even though the game is nearly two months away still, this announcement will only get fans more pumped for this clash of the titans.

There's a lot of football to be played between now and then, though, and folks will surely just be happy for college football to get back underway this upcoming weekend.
