Ahead of the upcoming 2024 NFL season, Patrick Mahomes has just revealed the team he is most looking forward to playing against.

The two-time league MVP is eager to lead the Kansas City Chiefs in their quest to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. However, before he gets into January and February when he thrives best, he must first focus on the 17 regular-season games ahead.

In a post by the NFL on X, Mahomes was asked which opponent on the schedule he is "most excited" to play. He certainly didn't hesitate to say the Las Vegas Raiders.

"I'm always really excited to play the Raiders," Mahomes shared. "It's always a great game. We always have a fun time when were able to go against each other."

It's always a heated battle when the two division rivals face off, especially in 2023.

In their Week 16 matchup, the Raiders upset the Chiefs in a crucial game for Kansas City. With that loss, they were eliminated from contention for the number one seed in the AFC. It would lead to the first time in Mahomes' career that he had to play an away game in the playoffs.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of storylines come in 2024 between the Raiders and Chiefs.

They will play each other twice this season: first on October 27 in Vegas, and then on November 29 in Kansas City.
