Kalen DeBoer Continues To Impress With First Recruiting Class At Alabama

Big news broke early Tuesday afternoon of four-star running back Akylin Dear's commitment to the Crimson Tide.

Originally, Dear was committed to Ole Miss, before announcing his decommitment in late June. This decommitment created various rumors and speculations that Dear would ultimately commit to the Crimson Tide sometime down the road.

Now, with this commitment officially announced, Alabama's 2025 recruiting class has now elevated to a level nearly unmatched.

Alabama now has seven prospects in the 2025 class who are ranked within the Top 50 alone. These seven players are five-stars Ty Haywood, Caleb Cunningham, Keelon Russell and Dijon Lee, along with four-stars Michael Carrol, Darrel Johnson, and now Akylin Dear.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer continues to prove his recruiting talent by landing all of these big names, plus more that aren't even mentioned. It seems that in his short time as head coach with the Tide, he is striving to uphold the standard that Nick Saban left and elevate it even further.
