After a strong offseason, the New York Jets are considered a favorite to not just make the playoffs for the first time in 13 seasons, but win their first division title since 2002.

With the help of Aaron Rodgers, and an elite defense, the Jets are considered a roster that won't be pushed around by the rest of the AFC East. That also doesn't mean that the rest of the division isn't good enough to thwart their dreams, either.

In the case of the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, or even the rebuilding New England Patriots, the Jets know that they still have much to prove.

"Taking care of our job, taking care of our business," Jest head coach Robert Saleh said Tuesday. "When we cross the bridge of having to play them, we'll play them."

To achieve their goals of division supremacy, the Jets know that they'll have to go through the four-time defending champs in the Buffalo Bills first.

"Buffalo, as long as Josh Allen's quarterback and Coach (Sean) McDermott's coaching that defense, they're going to be a problem for the entire AFC."

And it doesn't help that the Dolphins and Patriots each have multiple playoff appearances in their decade-long drought either.

"As long as Tua (Tagovailoa) playing quarterback with (Mike) McDaniel and all that speed, they're going to be a problem. New England has got a tremendous foundation. Their defensive pieces are all still there and they're rebuilding that offense, so they’re still going to be a problem, but I'll be honest with you, our focus is us."

Saleh is just the leader of the pack, but the Jets appear as focused as ever to try and achieve something that hasn't happened in two decades.
