Oregon football's 2024 hype train continued to pick up steam as Kelley Ford released his analytic-based preseason outlook on Monday.

Ford's detailed previews, which include "realistic expectations" for each FBS team ranked 1-134, are still being unveiled in order of the rankings

As Ford's No. 3 overall team, however, Oregon's "realistic expectations" are already available to the public.

Ford projected the Ducks' offense as No. 1 in the nation and their defense as 16th.

While its special teams unit was ranked 92nd, Oregon was favored in all 12 regular season games according to Ford's ratings system. In nine of those games, the Ducks had win probabilities of 90 percent or greater. However, matchups at home against Ohio State (59 percent) and on the road against Michigan (66 percent) and Wisconsin (86 percent) were considered more threatening.

Additionally, Ford presented a range of possible regular season win totals for Oregon, listing the Ducks with an 87 percent chance to win at least 10 of their 12 games and a 60 percent chance to win 11 or more.

With 10.6 projected wins, Oregon had the highest projected win total of any team across the country.

The only teams ranked higher than the Ducks in Ford's 1-134 listing were Georgia and Ohio State, which were both projected to win fewer games than Oregon.

The Ducks were given a 21 percent chance to achieve the coveted 12-0 mark, entering 2024 with their highest preseason ranking in the AP poll since 2014.

Oregon will be in action on Saturday, August 31 as the Ducks host Idaho in their 2024 season-opener.
