Devin Booker's Blunt Silver Medal Diss Is Turning Heads

Devin Booker is now part of a select group of current and former NBA players who have multiple Olympic gold medals under their name. This is after the Phoenix Suns superstar came back from the Paris Olympics with a gold medal in tow following Team USA's successful run in the 2024 Summer Games.
Booker was also part of the national team's gold medal conquest in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, which now makes the 27-year-old a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
It's not as if Booker got a free ride either, as the four-time All-Star played a pivotal role for Team USA throughout the tournament. The Suns shooting guard started all six games for the Americans, producing averages of 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists while also knocking down 2.2 triples per contest.

On Tuesday, Booker took to Instagram to share a mini-movie containing all of his favorite moments from his unforgettable Paris trip. At one point in the video, right after Team USA had defeated France in the final, Booker blurted out a savage diss aimed at the second placers.
"We don't do that silver s***," he stated at the 6:27 mark of the video.
The video itself has gone completely viral. It has been shared by multiple outlets on X, formerly Twitter, with this particular one already garnering more than 130,000 views as of writing.
The original video, which Booker posted on Instagram Reels, has garnered even more views. Hundreds of thousands of fans have reacted to the 14-minute clip, including none other than Team USA talisman LeBron James.
A lot of supporters also took notice of Booker's blunt statement on the silver medals, which according to him, is just not something Team USA aspires for.
History is indeed on Booker's side, with the national squad bagging the gold medal in 17 out of their 20 appearances in the tournament. Talk about a stellar record, right?
