Bills Provide Positive Update to Keon Coleman

Keon Coleman has plenty of pressure thrust upon him in his first NFL training camp with the Buffalo Bills .

As a high second-round pick by the team in April, Coleman is hoping to put up the kind of numbers that All-Pro Stefon Diggs was able to do during his run with the offense and quarterback Josh Allen.

To this point, the Florida State product has impressed most of Buffalo's coaching staff.

"I love where Keon is at as a football player right now," Bills' offensive coordinator Joe Brady said Tuesday. "It's understanding where expectations are, I'm not always just focused on how the production is in the preseason as opposed to every day in practice."

Coleman has just two catches for 20 yards in two preseason contests this season for Buffalo. While many Bills fans were hoping for more overall production from the rookie to this point, the workload that Coleman has taken on would take most receivers time to adjust.

It also doesn't help that he's still just a rookie.

The Florida State product has begun to earn the trust of the likes of Allen and Brady - a sign that he could see te field a lot earlier than once anticipated.

That would be perfectly fine for the Bills offense as they prepare for life without Diggs.
