Travis Kelce’s New Career Choice Has Fans Ecstatic

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has enjoyed quite the year. He won a Super Bowl and has been spending lots of time with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Kelce's NFL career is looking every bit like a Hall of Fame resume, as well. He has three Super Bowl rings, nine trips to the Pro Bowl, and four First-team All-Pro nominations. He also has the career record for postseason receptions (165) and receiving touchdowns by a tight end (19).

Now, Kelce appears headed for a new career path with his NFL playing days approaching the final stretch.

On Tuesday night, Adam Sandler revealed that Kelce would have a cameo in "Happy Gilmore 2."

"Travis has mentioned it," Sandler said. "And so we have a nice something for Travis. He's going to come by."

Back in May, Kelce expressed his desire to at least be an extra on "Happy Gilmore 2", and now Sandler makes it official by saying they have something for him.

Sandler also added that Kelce is a "stud" and "so funny."

Fans loved the announcement from Sandler and they can't wait to see Kelce in his new role, no matter how big or small it may be.

"Travis Kelce cameo in Happy Gilmore 2 - That's actually crazy. Love to see it. This is one of my favorite movies so hopefully the sequel lives up to the hype," one fan wrote. Another said, "Adam Sandler x Travis kelce????? it’s a need now."

Another fan even asked for Jason Kelce to be a part of it. "@AdamSandler please tell me @tkelce is your partner for the celebrity pro-am and @JasonKelce is who Shooter McGavin hires to heckle you guys."

With Kelce saying he wanted to be an extra, fans made sure to point out that he manifested it into existence once again.

"Add this to the list of things Travis Kelce has manifested," one fan wrote with another saying, "killatrav manifesting himself a whole other career out there."

"Happy Gilmore 2" is set for production soon and it will be interesting to see which other celebrities have cameos in the movie.

Moreover, Kelce is also set to be in a movie called "Loose Cannons", per a report from the Hollywood Reporter.

"Kelce is attached to star in "Loose Cannons," an action comedy that is in the process of being set up at Lionsgate."

Kelce is still playing in the NFL and is still one of (if not the best) tight ends in the game. Whenever his career comes to an end, he very well could have a career in acting.
