Joe Burrow Shares Heartfelt Moment With Parents Post-Practice

It's been a whirlwind of off seasons for Joe Burrow since entering the league in 2020. After Tuesday's joint practice came to a conclusion between the Bengals and the Colts , it was officially Burrow's first full training camp he's had on the field, participating, and fully healthy. Which is crazy to think about because he's now entering his fifth season in the NFL .

In 2020, the teams were not in person due to COVID-19; in 2021, he was rehabbing his torn ACL; in 2022, he had an appendectomy burst that occurred right before camp, which led him to miss the bulk of it; and then in 2023, he had a calf strain in the first week that led him to miss the entirety of training camp. But now, finally, Joe Burrow is healthy, and his parents were in attendance for the completion.

Burrow spent up to ten minutes chatting with his parents, who have been key supporters through it all. Both have been there for Joe's biggest moments on the field and his lowest moments.

His dad, Jim Burrow , has a coaching and playing background. He was a cornerback briefly for the Green Bay Packers and then decided to make the transition to the Canadian Football League . He then later went into coaching at Ohio University as the team's defensive coordinator.

While his mom, Robin Burrow worked for a school and does an extensive amount for charity alongside his son. Burrow has multiple foundations, including the " Joe Burrow Foundation ," which runs off his number nine jersey, as he and his partnerships donate 9,999 meals each year to three separate programs within Cincinnati, Ohio, Athens, Ohio, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

His impact is felt, and he continues to be an influential leader for the Cincinnati Bengals, and his parents have played a vital role in shaping Joe's character.
