Drew Bledsoe, the former quarterback for the New England Patriots, enjoyed a successful NFL career as a starter.

He is most famously known for being succeeded by Tom Brady in New England more than 20 years ago. Despite this setback, Bledsoe has maintained a close friendship with Brady to this day.

Bledsoe played a significant role in Netflix's roast of Tom Brady earlier this year. A Patriots Hall of Famer, Bledsoe was also present at Brady's induction into the franchise's Hall of Fame this summer.

Thus, Bledsoe is well-accustomed to delivering friendly public jabs at Brady, consistently doing so with a broad smile.

Bledsoe's Wednesday morning appearance on NFL Network's Good Morning Football remained consistent when he was questioned about Brady's forthcoming debut season as a FOX NFL color commentator.

"I know that Tommy will work it to death," Bledsoe said. "I will get kind of tired of his squeaky ass voice, but I know he'll do a great job calling the games," Bledsoe joked.

Bledsoe is sure to be among the NFL fans tuning in for Brady's broadcast debut when the Dallas Cowboys kick off the season against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.
