Simone Biles Shares Big Post-Olympic Personal Update

It’s a good time to be Simone Biles.

Fresh off winning three gold medals and one silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Biles got even more good news on Wednesday: Netflix announced Part 2 of its popular docuseries “Simone Biles Rising,” starring Biles and her Olympic Journey in Paris, will premiere on Oct. 25.

The news was confirmed on both Biles’ and Netflix's X accounts with the latter posting a video of Biles spoofing another hit Netflix show, “Emily in Paris.”

“And ever since I moved to Paris, my life has been chaotic and dramatic and complicated,” Biles joked in the announcement video. “Without basic b----es like me, you wouldn’t be fashionable. I’m not somebody who can share a crepe, I need the whole crepe.”

The first part of Biles’ statement in the video announcement isn’t actually an exaggeration. She recently revealed a Paris nightclub tried to charge her $26,000 for a bottle of champagne while she was out celebrating once the Olympics ended.

“We had closing ceremonies at the Olympics, I went and after that we went out,” she recalled. “You guys, this club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne. Like, are you insane? Obviously, I didn’t buy it. But why would you even try to play me like that? Like, that’s wild."

Part 1 of the "Simone Biles Rising" aired earlier this year to build up Biles' march to the 2024 Olympics. It detailed her withdrawing from the Tokyo Games and working through her mental-health battle to prepare for the 2024 Olympics.

The second part of series picks up with Biles at the 2024 Olympic trials, show her competing in qualification rounds, traveling to Paris and finally competing in the Olympic events.

Biles left Paris with gold medals in the team event, the individual all-around final and vault, and she won silver in the floor exercise behind Brazil's Rebeca Andrade.
