If you are a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and you've watched this offense fail to operate efficiently over the course of two preseason games ... admit it: You cannot help but be a bit concerned.

And if you are Russell Wilson, who made his preseason debut last weekend and mixed right in with the underperforming group that coach Mike Tomlin called "the JV's''? You share that worry, too, right, Russ?

After all, Russ, you remained in the last game longer than the Steelers may have intended because the offense struggled so much the coaches wanted a few more tries to get the kinks out. Right?

And you started, Russ, and you played five series, but you still couldn’t lead the team to a touchdown before giving way to Justin Fields. ... who is stuck in the same ditch in that regard. Right?

Wilson said on Wednesday that he expects to play again in Saturday’s preseason finale and is “excited to get back on the field” against the Lions. And that's sort of a result of worry, too. Right?

“Absolutely not,” Wilson insisted. “Because the reason being, as I told you guys, is the level of practices we’ve had against one of the best defenses every day. And how we’ve shown up there. So I think the best thing that we can do is just slow our minds down, play really clean football, and also to enjoy the process, man.”

Want an enjoyable process against Detroit? One that can carry over to facing the Falcons in Week 1? Score a touchdown, Russ.
