Caitlin Clark got off to a strong start during her first season in the WNBA, and that has continued following the Olympic break.

The Indiana Fever have gone 2-0 since the WNBA's return, with quality wins against two playoff-contending teams, the Phoenix Mercury and the Seattle Storm.

With her play over the last week, Clark has earned her first-ever AP Player of the Week honors, joining her teammate Aliyah Boston as the only two Fever players to earn this award in 2024.

On Wednesday, the Fever posted a strong message on social media regarding Clark and Boston's award, announcing that their two stars have combined for something no other team has this year.

"We're the only team in the league this season with multiple AP Player of the Week Award winners," the Fever wrote.

In the two games following the break, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star averaged 26.0 points on 48.57% shooting, 9.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. She also broke the record for most assists by a rookie in WNBA history.

Boston won her Player of the Week award for the week of June 18. In three games during that time, Boston averaged 20.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. The Fever went 2-1 in those games, including wins over the Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky.

Clark, Boston and Kelsey Mitchell all represented Indiana in the 2024 WNBA All-Star game. They helped Team WNBA pull off an upset win over Team USA just before the Olympic break and are now performing at a high level once again.
