After Aaron Rodgers' torn Achilles left New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson without a single reception from the 40-year-old quarterback in 2023, hype is once again building around the dynamic duo entering the 2024 season.

Just two days after New York's "worst practice" of the offseason, Rodgers and Wilson were back to showing off their sky-high upside during joint practices.

Scrimmaging against the New York Giants on Wednesday, August 21, Rodgers unleashed what NFL aggregator account Dov Kleiman labeled a "perfect bomb" touchdown pass.

The ball traveled approximately 55 yards in the air before hitting Wilson in stride down the left sideline.

Earlier in the day, Rodgers and Wilson connected on an impressive up-and-out route down the right sideline, much to the delight of the crowd in attendance.

Rodgers has praised his No. 1 wide receiver's leadership and assentation entering year three.

"Garrett, I just want to see his leadership role continue to expand, his route tree to expand and his instincts to continue to further (develop)," Rodgers told reporters in August . "But I’m really proud of him.”

Wilson, 24, will be in search of his third consecutive 1,000-yard season since being drafted No. 10 overall in 2022. The former Ohio State star has yet to top more than four touchdowns in season yet, however.
