Jets Have All Makings of Special Roster

In every training camp period, there's a team across the league that impresses and looks dominant from both an on-field and off-field perspective.

Many national analysts felt that the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles were that kind of team. In 2023, it was the Baltimore Ravens.

The New York Jets might just be that team in 2024.

Over the last month, New York has had days where its top defense and improved offense won the day overall. Each time one position group seemed to dominate one day, the next would be followed up as a response from the other.

When the team faced other organizations in joint practice, a wide gap in talent and execution showed out in the Jets' favor.

Whether it was the Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers, or New York Giants, the Jets have looked like a well-oiled machine on both sides of the ball.

Far better than the 7-10 group that finished last year.

New York made major changes to the roster over the offseason with the additions of Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses, Mike Williams, and Haason Reddick.

While Reddick's absence from camp may seem like a detriment to the organization overall, it hasn't been the case for the team on the field to this point of camp.

And it's just the latest example of how special the group could be going into the 2024 season.
