Bills Coordinator Sets Clear Offensive Goal Against Panthers

With just one week of preseason football remaining for the Buffalo Bills, the team and their fans are going to get their last look at a lot of players before the 53-man roster is finalized the following week. Now, with the Bills' final game against the Carolina Panthers just days away, offensive coordinator Joe Brady set one clear goal for his unit: Get in the end zone.

Through two preseason games in 2024, the Bills have scored a total of 15 points, all of which coming from field goals. The team has had their offensive starters out on the field for less than a quarter between those games, but it still isn't a great look for a lot of players who are looking to make an NFL roster for the first time.

Brady spoke a bit more on why getting in the end zone is so important for those guys.

"It's important because if we're scoring touchdowns, that means our guys are having success," said Brady. "I know that in the long run the statistics and the game results might not seem like anything at the end of the season, but for our guys if we're getting them a touchdown, that's being able to showcase them."

Since the Bills already confirmed that their starters will be sitting out against the Panthers, the players currently on the roster bubble should have plenty of opportunities to earn their spot by making it into the end zone.
