WNBA Star Angel Reese Shares Thoughts on Potentially Training With Tim Duncan

Who could teach Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese to improve on her already stellar rebounding?

Reese, who grabbed 20 rebounds vs. the Phoenix Mercury on Aug. 19, recently remarked on the idea of training with Tim Duncan.

“I mean, always learning from a legend is great,” Reese said during an interview with Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson.

Duncan, also known as "The Big Fundamental," is one of the best defensive players in NBA history, finishing his 19-year career with five NBA championships. He would make sense as a coach for a young, defensive-minded WNBA star.

Why wouldn't Reese want to learn from one of the best players of all time?

"For me, I love to pick people’s brains and pick a lot of great players’ brains, so of course it would be great,” Reese said.

However, the WNBA's schedule logistics and the difficulties of navigating a rookie year aren't working in her favor.

“I’m just worried about right now. I mean, I can’t dictate who I work out with," Reese said. "I’m just looking forward to getting better at the moment."

Currently, the Sky hold the final WNBA playoff seed. Perhaps if Chicago holds on to the playoff position and Reese continues to impress, she'll have the opportunity to pick Duncan's brain.
