Bo Nix's Wife Sends Touching Message After Husband Named Broncos Starting QB

It's not every day that you can fulfill your lifelong dream of being named a starting quarterback in the NFL, but Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix got to experience that on Wednesday.

After a pair of impressive preseason performances, Nix got the nod from Broncos head coach Sean Payton, winning the starting spot over both Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham after completing 23-of-30 passes for 205 yards and 2 TDs in his pair of preseason games.

Afterward, Nix's wife, Izzy, took to social media to congratulate her husband on this massive achievement and inspire him with a kind message going forward.

Here's what Izzy had to say on her Instagram story:

"So proud of him," she said before adding a Bible verse to the end of her post.

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Proverbs 16:3."

Nix and his wife got married while the two were at the University of Oregon together in 2022. The two met at Auburn where Nix was playing with the Tigers to start his college career.

We don't know whether or not Nix will play any more preseason games for the Broncos this year after being named the starter, but his official NFL career will debut in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.
