New Bills Signings Have Surprising History

The Buffalo Bills' quarterback room has seen quite a bit of turnover throughout the preseason. Beginning with Mitchell Trubisky and Shane Buechele as the backups behind Josh Allen heading into the preseason, the team will now field Ben DiNucci and Anthony Brown in their final preseason game following multiple injuries.

Both DiNucci and Brown are new to the Bills franchise as they enter their fifth and third seasons in the NFL respectively. They also have never played on the same team as each other. Despite this, the two have actually known each other well before their professional careers even started.

"Me and Ben are actually really good friends," Brown said. "We've known each other since college, so it's actually interesting that we're teammates. I trust that if Ben knows his stuff, we're both going to be on the same accord. Whether that's him helping me, or me asking a million questions just to get on top of my game, it'll happen."

The two have trained with each other since their early college years, and according to Brown, it has added some comfort into their situation as they adjust to learning a new playbook.

While the Bills have yet to announce who will start their final preseason game, fans can surely expect DiNucci, who played in the second half of Buffalo's preseason win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, to be on the field for a portion of the game.
