Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes will kick off the 2024-25 college football season against the North Dakota State Bison on Aug. 29.

Before the Week 1 matchup against the Bison, Sanders took to social media to send fans a message. He wants to get Folsom Field packed with CU fans, ready to embark on the second season of the Sanders era.

    "Fill Up Folsom," Sanders said.

While advertising the game, Sanders' flyer listed the kickoff time, currently set at 8 p.m. ET, as well as a link and phone number to purchase tickets for the Buffaloes' opening game.

Sanders and the Buffaloes will be competing against a talented North Dakota State roster. They've proven to be one of the most consistent teams in the FCS, but this time, they'll be running onto the field with first-year head coach Tim Polasek.

The Bison have won the FCS Championship in two of the last five years. They have won 11 or more games every season in that span and have finished as the No. 1 seeded team in the FCS in two of the last five years.

Colorado may be facing Polsasek, who has yet to coach the Bison in his current role, but the 45-year-old has eight years of coaching at the FBS level with Iowa and Wyoming.

The Buffaloes will enter the new season with two of the best college football players: quarterback Sheduer Sanders and wide receiver and cornerback hybrid Travis Hunter.

Colorado went 4-8 last season, which was an improvement from their 1-11 record in 2023, but coach Sanders has been adamant about the urgency of winning, so four wins should be seen as the base floor.

After hosting the Bison in Week 1, Colorado will travel to Nebraska on Sept. 7 to take on the Cornhuskers in Week 2.
