Gymnastics Icon Shawn Johnson Reveals Perfect New Nickname For Simone Biles

Simone Biles has been endowed with more than a few nicknames throughout her illustrious gymnastics career. There's no denying, however, that the one that sticks out is "GOAT."

After adding four more medals to her tally during the recently concluded Paris Games to up her Olympic medal tally to 11 (!), it's hard to argue that there is no better nickname for the most decorated U.S. gymnast in the history of the Summer Games.

Gymnastics icon Shawn Johnson has put forth a pretty formidable contender, though. In a recent interview with Sarah Grossbart of E! News, the four-time Olympic medalist dropped the perfect new nickname for Biles -- courtesy of Johnson's four-year-old daughter, Drew.

"She kept asking, 'Mama, where's The Best ?'" Shawn said. "And it's because I kept talking about Simone, how she's the best. So instead of calling her Simone, she's like, 'Mama, where's The Best?'"

That's so adorable.

Johnson, who took home a gold and three silver medals for the United States during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, was in Paris with her family to witness Biles take on the rest of the world.

Johnson revealed that initially, she was unsure if her daughter "would last two minutes, 10 minutes or the whole time" watching Biles compete in person. This is why she was pleasantly surprised when Drew was "enthralled" as they watched Biles and U.S. gymnastics teammate Suni Lee win gold and bronze, respectively, during the individual all-around final on August 1.

Not too many four-year-olds out there are able to say that they've seen Biles and Co. compete at the grandest of stages. Then again, how many of them are the daughter of a U.S. gymnastics icon?
