The Baltimore Ravens fanbase has long been on the hunt for a true WR1. For most of Lamar Jackson's career, the main criticism of their roster was the lack of that elite receiver for the star.

With two elite wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Brandon Aiyuk potentially being traded, Ravens fans are wondering if their team has a chance of acquiring them. So when Lamar posted on X that he received some good news, Ravens fans were in a frenzy.

"Woke up to Great news😎," Jackson posted. "Let’s get it over witđŸ™đŸŸđŸ’œ#Readyforwar"

The quote tweets reveal many Ravens fans salivating at the idea of Lamb or Aiyuk wearing the purple-and-black of Baltimore. Unfortunately for them, Jackson was quick to quell those rumors an hour later.

"I forgot how twitter is," Jackson joked. "You all r wrongđŸ€Ł"

Jackson, one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, is coming off of a career season. He won his second MVP this year by posting 3,678 yards on the air for 24 touchdowns, as well as 821 yards on the ground.

Jackson has some solid weapons around him. Zay Flowers is emerging as one of the better young receivers. Mark Andrews is a top-5 tight end at worst in the NFL. And they just acquired former rushing leader Derrick Henry.

That being said, having a proven WR1 alongside the young Flowers would give the Ravens a huge edge over the AFC. It's unlikely that they're able to trade for either Aiyuk or Lamb, but that won't stop Baltimore fans from dreaming.
