It says a lot when you’re almost 35 years of age and can still make the opposition dance. Harden is truly one of the best ball-handlers today, with thousands of kids mimicking his moves on the hardwood globally, especially his signature step-back jumper. Even though he's not the player he once was, new NBA2K25 game gave him respect and ranked him fourth on the list of the best ball handlers.

Harden is the second oldest player on the list after Stephen Curry. Leading the race is Kyrie Irving, who has one of the deepest bags in the league. Other names include Trae Young and Luka Doncic. Some other notable mentions not making the list include Damian Lillard and Chris Paul.

    Still a difference maker

While he may have slowed down lately, James Harden is one of the most elite scorers in league history. The former MVP is among the top 5 when it comes to most 40-point games and 50-point games ever, with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and Wilt Chamberlain above him.

Harden’s basketball prowess also extends to his handles, be it his crossovers, Euro step, spin move, step back jumper, and the list goes on. There have been plenty of cases of the ten-time All-Star putting his opponents on skates or even snatching their ankles.

Hence, picture the excitement of playing as him in the virtual realm. The former Rockets superstar’s iso-game is one of a kind, evident from his 100+ games where he has scored at least 40 points and 23 contests where he at least had 50-point.

    Some respite for Harden fans

The Beard’s overall 84 ranking on 2K has caused quite a storm among his fans. No disrespect to these players, but Harden isn’t in the mix with Jalen Green, Josh Hart, or Kyle Kuzma. The three-time scoring champion has built an All-NBA resume.

Not the walking bucket anymore, Harden is still an All-Star caliber player, who was top 4 in assists this season and no.1 during the 2022-23 season, averaging 10.7 per game.
