Lamar Jackson Narrowly Avoids Major Bike Accident

The Baltimore Ravens are in Green Bay for joint practices with the Packers to close out the 2024 NFL offseason.

Unexpectedly, quarterback Lamar Jackson struck fear in the heart of every Ravens fan while trying to have some fun.

In what has become a longstanding training camp tradition that dates back to 1958, Packers players meet up with young children and ride their bikes to practice across the street at Green Bay's Ray Nitschke Field.

The two-time league MVP gave it a try on Thursday, August 22 and narrowly escaped a major fall while trying to high-five some fans in his path. Packers reporter Ryan Wood captured the close call on video.

Known for his unrivaled speed and athleticism, the 27-year-old Ravens star needed every ounce of it not to hit the concrete.

"D**n if this wasn't a close call. ... You can really see the athleticism when someone tries to not fall off a moving bike. I would’ve eaten concrete," Wood added on X.

Jackson can be seen and heard laughing at himself immediately after catching his balance and continuing his ride.
