    The Chicago Cubs will look to take the series in a rubber match against the Detroit Tigers at Wrigley Field on Thursday.

    The Cubs currently have a 62-65 record and head into the series finale 5.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves for the final spot in the National League Wildcard race.

    Thursday, August 22nd: Justin Steele vs. Tyler Holton

    The Cubs will go with Justin Steele (3-5, 3.10 ERA) in the series finale on Thursday. Steele's last start was interrupted by two rain delays as he only threw two innings of work. He will look to bounce back and win the series against the Tigers.

    The Tigers will go with a bullpen game for the third straight game. They will begin the game with Tyler Holton (5-1, 2.49 ERA). Holton will be making his sixth start of the season for Detroit.
