It has been a wild summer for Jaylen Brown, to say the least.

After winning NBA Finals MVP en route to his first NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in June, Brown ended up getting snubbed from the Team USA squad for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

This resulted in him getting into drama with Nike and Grant Hill, the latter who labeled him as a conspiracy theorist in regard to why he was left off the roster.

With the Olympics over and Team USA clinching gold once again, it was possible that Brown might cool down with the headlines in basketball media. Well, he proved a lot of people wrong on Thursday.

Brown decided to take part in a new song with hip-hop artist ASAP Ferg titled after Nike's slogan "Just Do It," coming out on Aug. 23 at midnight.

Snippets of the track ended up getting released, with one of them taking a shot at former Houston Rockets player Kevin Porter Jr.

“I learned how to touch her [Kysre Gondrezick] without using my hands," Brown said.

This obviously makes a direct reference to the immense controversy Porter got himself involved in when he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and a harassment violation that involved the WNBA player at a Manhattan hotel last September.

Prosecutors allege that Porter assaulted Gondrezick, his girlfriend at the time, resulting in her being covered up in blood with a severe cut above her right eye. However, she has refuted this claim, accusing the prosecution of promoting a "false narrative."

Porter was then playing for the Rockets, as he wounded up getting traded to Oklahoma City and waived the next day. After playing a season overseas in Greece, he has since returned to the NBA by signing a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers in July.

Gondrezick is currently dating Brown, confirming the relationship after having been seen with him at the Celtics' championship parade and the 2024 ESPY Awards, making the diss sting even more. She last played for the Chicago Sky this season, getting waived in June after five appearances.

Brown is making sure his wild summer ends with a bang before he finally prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season in the fall. Despite the ups and downs, it'll be a summer to remember for the Celtics star.
