Buccaneers to Watch in Preseason Finale

    By TJ French,

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will square off against the Miami Dolphins on Friday night for the final game of the preseason slate and the team's first preseason game at Raymond James Stadium.

For some players, this last preseason game could be the deciding factor on whether or not they will make the team. Head coach Todd Bowles has already announced this is the game where we will see the majority of the starters for at least a couple of possessions. Here are some players to watch for:

    RB Rachaad White

It's going to be the Buccaneers' starting running back Rachaad White's first taste of game action this year. With the offensive line officially locked in, everyone is eager to see what this new rushing attack will look like at full strength. It has been Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker getting a majority of the snaps in the preseason, but White will be the worse horse come the regular season so it's going to be nice to see him tote the rock at least a couple of times.

    Guard Ben Bredeson

The Buccaneers left guard Ben Bredeson was the final piece to the offensive line puzzle being announced as a starter just a couple of days ago. I'm interested to see if he becomes more comfortable knowing he's not in a position battle anymore, and just how much the Bucs will run the ball to the left side with tackle Tristan Wirfs right by his side.

    OLB Jose Ramirez

In the Bucs' preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the pass rush was the only factor on defense, and outside linebacker Jose Ramirez was a big part of that recording three sacks. With the Bucs banged up at the position, Ramirez has a chance to prove himself yet again.

    CB Zyon McCollum

The Dolphins are one of the fastest teams in the NFL with players like receivers Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle. Cornerback Zyon McCollum is a speedster himself running a 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the 2023 NFL Combine. We also know McCollum will be a starter this year lining up across cornerback Jamel Dean. It will be good to see how they work to slow down the Dolphins' speedsters.
