Since being chosen as the No. 1 pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 draft, Caitlin Clark has captivated a new legion of fans, propelling the WNBA into the spotlight as one of the most widely discussed sports leagues in America.

Some may think that when the NFL starts back up in September, the WNBA will be an afterthought. But popular sports personality Skip Bayless is not one of those people.

In a recent episode of " The Skip Bayless Show ," Bayless discussed Clark's impact and proceeded to admit that he looks forward to watching the Indiana Fever more than his beloved Dallas Cowboys, which he is a well-known fan of.

"I'm seeing Caitlin Clark emerge as an extraordinary professional basketball player," Bayless said. "Highest risk. Highest reward... I'm so okay with Caitlin Clark now that I must tell you, I look more forward to watching the Indiana Fever than I do my Dallas Cowboys. And that's the truth."

The Cowboys are the world's most valuable sports team, and their popularity has a lot to do with it. For the past three years, Dallas has had incredible regular seasons but disappoints in the playoffs. Last season was no different, securing the No. 2 seed in the NFL Playoffs and losing to the last-seeded Green Bay Packers 48-32.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones promised fans he would go "all in" this offseason to improve the team, but that hasn't been the case. Jones won't even sign his star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. All of this has made it hard for Cowboys fans to look forward to the upcoming season, and Bayless is no exception.

Clark and the Fever are on a little different path. The Fever had the top pick in the draft for a reason, and Clark has elevated them to new heights. Now, they are arguably the most fun team to watch in all of sports. With a few more wins, Indiana will secure their first playoff spot since 2016.

Ideally, they won't go down the same path as the Cowboys.
