The Kansas City Chiefs may have found their running back of the future in Isiah Pacheco, but the depth behind him is a bit of a question mark.

In a recent article by Pro Football Network's Dallas Robinson , he picks what he thinks is the biggest weakness of the biggest contenders in the NFL. For the reigning Super Bowl champions, he believes that their biggest weakness if their running back depth.

"If we’re going to quibble with Kansas City’s roster, we’ll go to running back, where the Chiefs are still searching for options behind starter Isiah Pacheco," Robinson writes. "Clyde Edwards-Helarie is back on a one-year deal but has recently battled episodes of post-traumatic stress disorder. K.C. has given reps to backups like Deneric Prince and Carson Steele (nominally a fullback) during camp."

One back that the team has gone to a fair amount the last few seasons is Jerick McKinnon, who is still a free agent. However, the team has not made any moves to bring him back, so they could be looking to go somewhere else.

Steele and Prince have both shown promise in the action they have seen in the preseason, and they could make the team's opening day roster. But the thing the Chiefs need to figure out is whether or not they have a guy that they can go to whenever they need to take some pressure off of Pacheco.

If they do not feel like Steele or Prince can be that guy, going out and getting another back might be in the team's best interests.
