Three years ago, Ja'Marcus Ingram was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills after a successful college career for the Buffalo Bills.

While he's been safe on the Bills' practice squad for the last two seasons, many players and coaches on the team seem more than impressed with how the 26-year-old corner has developed into a key player on the roster.

One of those players impressed is Taron Johnson.

"I feel like that's a testament to him and how he works in the offseason, and just making sure that he's getting his body where it needs to be," Johnson said.

"Like playing DB, playing corner, playing nickel, you're gonna get beat sometimes, and it's about being able to bounce back from that, and I've seen him bounce back and just make plays even when it seems like he shouldn't. So just that alone, his fearlessness, I feel like, is a huge factor for him."

Johnson is considered one of the best slot cornerbacks in the game today and knows the importance of having quality depth in the secondary.

Ingram has been just that for Buffalo over the course of training camp.

And the more he shows out, the more likely it is that he continues to see more playing time for the 2024 season.
