F1 News: Christian Horner Declares Relief After Misconduct Allegations Dismissed

Christian Horner has been cleared of all misconduct allegations following a thorough investigation, allowing him to refocus on his role at Red Bull Racing .

The inquiry was initiated by Red Bull GmbH after a female employee made allegations against Horner. The independent investigation found no basis for the claims. However, the situation escalated when unverified WhatsApp messages purportedly between Horner and the employee were leaked to the media shortly after the investigation concluded. The employee, who was placed on paid suspension, announced her intention to appeal the investigation's findings.

Recently, it was confirmed that the appeal process has concluded, reaffirming Horner's exoneration.

Horner has chosen not to comment on the appeal but has expressed relief that the investigation is over. He emphasized the team's focus on the upcoming races, particularly with the Dutch Grand Prix weekend now underway.

"Obviously, it's been a hugely thorough process and, of course, I was relieved with the appeal concluding and dismissing the claim," Horner said as quoted by Sky Sports News .

"So, now It's very much, as it has been all season, focus on track, here at Max's home race and looking forward to these last 10 races.

"It is a private matter. I'm just relieved that the process [carried out by] the company now has been concluded. Our focus is very much on track."

Red Bull GmbH issued a statement confirming the investigation's outcome, stating that the complaint was handled through the company's grievance procedures and ultimately dismissed. The company respects the privacy of all employees involved and will not provide further comments on the matter.

"Earlier this year, a complaint raised against Christian Horner was investigated. That complaint was dealt with through the company's grievance procedure by the appointment of an independent KC who dismissed the grievance.

"The complainant exercised the right to appeal, and the appeal was carried out by another independent KC. All stages of the appeal process have now been concluded, with the final outcome that the appeal is not being upheld.

"The KC's conclusions have been accepted and adopted by Red Bull. The internal process has concluded.

"The company respects the privacy of all its employees and will not be making further public comment on this matter at this time.

"Red Bull is committed to continuing to meet the highest workplace standards."

As the Dutch Grand Prix weekend kicks off, Red Bull Racing is looking ahead, with Horner now able to concentrate fully on the team's performance on the track.
