Nick Saban Sends Message To Ohio State Fans Regarding Ryan Day

The 2024 college football season is right around the corner, and heading into the new year, one team many folks are high on, including recently retired coach Nick Saban, is the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Led by head coach Ryan Day, Ohio State's football team has a ton of talent, and they are widely expected to be one of the team's playing football well into the winter.

There have been some concerns from fans about Day's ability to properly coach this team given their lack of success in the College Football Playoff. Despite that, Saban recently vouched for Day, saying he believes that he's the right guy to lead Ohio State.

Day led Ohio State to the National Championship Game in 2020, but they came up short against Alabama, and haven't found their way back there since then.

The Buckeyes have been a good team under Day's lead, but they simply haven't been able to win a championship with him in charge, and fans are starting to get impatient.

Saban preaches patience with these comments, and given all the success he enjoyed during his career, chances are fans will be willing to give Day another shot since he has the former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach's support.
