Nick Saban Reveals Hidden Alabama Motive Behind Picking Georgia And Texas For National Championship

Nick Saban is no longer the head coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, but that doesn't mean he's going to be supporting other teams in the upcoming 2024 campaign.

However, Saban recently surprised fans by picking Georgia and Texas to be the two teams battling in the 2025 National Championship Game.

Saban's snub of Alabama caught the attention of fans everywhere, especially since only coached the team last season. However, according to the legendary head coach, he had a sneaky reason for not selecting his former Crimson Tide team, as he believes it will motivate them to prove him wrong.

This is a hilarious revelation from Saban, as he confirmed that he will always have Alabama's best interests at heart, even if it leads to his predictions being incorrect.

There are quite a few holdovers from the 2023 team who just played for Saban, so you can bet they are going to be fired up as they attempt to prove their former coach wrong.

Even with Saban no longer on the sidelines, expectations are high for the Crimson Tide this upcoming season, and it will be interesting to see if they can make their way back to the National Championship Game and ruin their old leader's prediction.
