    Boston Red Sox Look to Open Weekend with Victory Over Arizona Diamondbacks

    The Boston Red Sox (67-59) may have found their way out of their second-half slump. Going 6-4 over their last 10, the Red Sox now look to keep that momentum going with a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks (72-56) on Friday to begin their three-game weekend series.

    The Red Sox will send Brayan Bello (11-5, 4.80 ERA) to the mound on Friday. In his last start, Bello allowed one earned run on two hits and three walks while striking out six in six innings. The Red Sox are hopeful for another Quality Start from the young righty on Friday.

    Here is how the Red Sox will line up on Friday:

    The Diamondbacks will counter with Ryne Nelson (8-6, 4.35 ERA). In his last start, Nelson allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out six in 6 1/3 innings.

    Since July 1st, Nelson has pitched to a 2.73 ERA across nine games (eight starts) and 56 innings.

    How to Watch

    The first pitch for Friday's game is scheduled for 7:10 PM EST. The game will be broadcast nationally on MLB Network (out-of-market only) as well as on NESN and Arizona Diamondbacks.
