Trask Finds Miller for Second TD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers slotted in their starters for the only time this the preseason against the Miami Dolphins Friday evening. Baker Mayfield , Rachaad White and others got their first run in Liam Coen's system.

But their time ended early, coming out after a successful first drive. The Bucs then installed Kyle Trask and the second-team offense.

Nonetheless, the offensive output continued with the reserves taking over. In fact, the Bucs took the chance to showcase their arsenal of weapons beyond star receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Capitalizing on prime field position thanks to a fourth down stop by the defense, Trask and the offense marched 47 yards in nine plays to go up 17-0. The Bucs extended their lead after the quarterback found Ryan Miller 10 yards out for the team's second touchdown.

Trask's perfect mark put the Bucs up 17-0, but saw several receivers get involved through the air. Cody Thompson has pieced together an impressive first half with five catches for 43 yards.

Bucky Irving continued his strong preseason out of the backfield, accumulating 26 yards on his first six carries. In a short stretch, he has clearly carved out his role as the team's primary backup to White.
