The Tampa Bay Buccaneers slotted in their starters for the only time this preseason against the Miami Dolphins on Friday evening. Baker Mayfield , Rachaad White and others got their first run in Liam Coen's system.

But for the third week in a row, Sean Tucker stole the show out of the Tampa Bay backfield. The second-year back out of Syracuse broke free for a 27-yard catch, setting up an eventual fourth and goal score.

Quarterback Kyle Trask floated a two-yard touchdown to Tanner Kue, extending the Bucs' lead to a 10-point margin. Trask has solidified his case as the backup quarterback against the Dolphins, completing 16 of 22 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Whether he's the one extending the ball over the goal line or not, Tucker has proven the driving force behind a handful of Tampa Bay scoring chances throughout the preseason. His catch-and-run was no exception.

The two longest Bucs' runs of the preseason belong to Tucker who has made his case for a spot in the backfield a near undeniable one. The running back has not only shown his big-play capability but also demonstrated his ability to handle a load for the offense if needed.

With such a strong backfield already headlined by White and Bucky Irving, he may not need to provide such a role unless the injury big strikes. But the Bucs should have considerable trust in their running game this season.
