    Kamilla Cardoso Reaches New Career Milestone In Sky's Road Game Vs. Sun

    Fan Favorite Kamilla Cardoso entered Friday night's contest between the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun as her team's fifth-leading scorer behind Elizabeth Williams, Marina Mabrey, Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter.

    She exited the exciting contest with a new career milestone after a reaching new heights in terms of points production in a losing effort.

    The Sky fought valiantly before falling 82-80 to Coach Stephanie White's Sun. Cardoso, Reese and the Sky were outscored 19-16 in the final quarter, but not before Cardoso lit up the scoreboard with a new career high.

    Cardoso, who was taken third overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of South Carolina, scored 18 points, a new career high, on 9-11 shooting to go along with six rebounds for the Sky.

    Carter led the Sky in scoring with 19 points followed by guard Lindsay Allen with 14 points and six assists. Angel Reese racked up 13 points and 20 rebounds for the Sky, who fell to 11-17 on the season after their loss to the second-place (in the Eastern Conference), 21-7 Sun.
