The preseason finale is here. The Green Bay Packers returned to Lambeau Field for the first time since January 7, 2024, for game action.

They were entertaining the Baltimore Ravens, who are expected to be one of the favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

After Thursday's joint practice, Jordan Love said his team was ready to face the Philadelphia Eagles.

“I feel like the team as a whole, we’re definitely ready,” Love said.

“It’s been a great training camp. We definitely got better every day, I feel like. Obviously, there's mistakes and things like that that happen, but we were able to learn from those. I feel like we’re definitely ready to go.”

Love dressed and warmed up, but he did not play. The next time everyone will see Jordan Love will be on September 6 when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles to kick off the regular season.

Sean Clifford and Michael Pratt rotated series during the game, which was a first for the Matt LaFleur era.

The results were a mixed bag, as most would likely expect for a preseason finale in which the Packers sat 38 players.

Green Bay still had some roster issues to solve.

One of them was at kicker, where Anders Carlson made a statement early.

The Packers failed on 3rd-and-11 to set up Carlson to kick a 54-yard field goal.

Carlson has been in competition throughout the offseason but may have clinched his spot on the initial roster by drilling the kick to give the Packers an early 3-0 lead.

Sean Clifford's start to the day was a tough one. His first two series saw him go 1-7, this coming off a poor performance a week ago.

The pass protection behind the Packers' skeleton offensive line did leave something to be desired, but Clifford has had a tough offseason.

Michael Pratt's first series also led the Packers to a field goal. He completed two passes, including a third-down conversion to Malik Heath.

This field goal was much shorter and made by Greg Joseph from 36 yards to make the score 6-0 on the first play of the second quarter.

Pratt's second series at quarterback was better than his first. He converted a 3rd down with a short pass to Emanuel Wilson, and that drive ended in a nice back-shoulder fade to Bo Melton in the corner of the end zone to give the Packers a 13-7 lead.

Through the first half, there was little question as to which quarterback was more effective, regardless of who was playing around them.

Pratt may not get a chance to win the backup quarterback job, but with performances like this one, it's hard to deny who the best option behind Jordan Love is.

Play of the day came courtesy of one of the backup defensive linemen.

Arron Mosby forced a fumble on Ravens' backup quarterback Devin Leary. The fumble was returned for a touchdown by defensive back Anthony Johnson Jr.

The first half ended with Mosby's interception leading to no points as Sean Clifford's two-minute drill stalled at the Ravens' 46.

Clifford got the nod for the first drive of the second half after Kalen King forced a fumble that was recovered by Christian Young.

The drive ended with a fourth down conversion when Clifford threw a strike to Malik Heath to give the Packers a 27-7 lead early in the third quarter.

The splash plays keep coming for Green Bay's defense as Kristian Welch snagged an interception off a Devin Leary pass.

Greg Joseph's 55-yard field goal split the uprights, as the Packers' kicker competition wages on.

The Packers' defense made a stop on 4th-and-1 from near midfield, giving Sean Clifford a chance to operate as he takes his turn at quarterback.

The Packers are riding their rushing attack, piling up more than 150 yards on the ground on the day.

Anders Carlson missed a 32-yard field goal, as the kicker competition takes another twist.

As the preseason grinds to a close, the next time both of these teams take the field, it will be for a regular season game.

The Packers finished 2-1 on the preseason and will play again in 12 days.
