NBA Superstar Reacts To Georgia Tech's Stunning Upset Over Florida State

What would college football be without prime upsets? How about one to kick off the season? Well, Dublin, Ireland, was the place to be after Georgia Tech kicker Aidan Birr drilled a 44-yard attempt as time expired to defeat number-ten ranked Florida State 24-21, and an NBA superstar sounded off with joy.

The Seminoles are now 0-2 since being snubbed from the College Football playoffs last season and have a lot of kinks to work out if they want to have an opportunity this year. Florida State struggled mightily to pass the ball on Saturday.

Seminoles quarterback DJ Uiagalelei completed 19 of 27 passes for 193 yards. However, only averaged 7.1 yards per reception. Most completions came behind or around the sticks.

After the Yellow Jackets pulled the upset, a local to the university, Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young , was fired up and brought the energy to social media.

"OKAY GA TECH!!! College Football Back!" Young said.

Georgia Tech is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Actually much closer to the Hawks Stadium than the University of Georgia is. Which makes plenty of sense as to why Young was ecstatic after the upset.

Georgia Tech has one of the toughest schedules in college football this season, but they just knocked off one of the higher-ranked opponents they will face. If quarterback Haynes King and company can continue to dominate the line of scrimmage and run the football like they did Saturday, they won't be an easy out for any team in the nation.
