College Football World Roasts Florida State After Week 0 Loss To Georgia Tech

The college football world really got a kick out of Florida State's Week 0 loss to Georgia Tech over in Dublin, Ireland.

Sans Michigan, Florida State was the controversy of the college football season in 2023, finishing 13-0 and ACC champs yet they were still left out of the four-team playoff last December. Horrific fallout from Florida State fans followed as they couldn't believe the injustice that was suffered by their team.

But that's all in the past. Aug. 24th marked a new season and expanded playoff format for Florida State to better compete for the national title. However, Georgia Tech stunned the "Noles in Ireland, drawing hilarious reactions from fans and media everywhere.

Some fans even made the joke that Deion Sanders' name may be brought up soon for the Florida State gig.

Others piled on. After all that anger from Seminole fans after how last year's College Football Playoff selection process went, non-FSU fans weren't shy to give back a taste of the Seminoles' own medicine.

Ever since that ACC title win vs. Louisville, life has been tough for Florida State football fans. They had to watch their 13-0 team get left out of the playoff, then lost by 60 against Georgia in the Orange Bowl, and have now lost in their standalone Week 0 game against Georgia Tech to kick off the entire 2024 college football season.

That's pretty rough.
