The St. Louis Cardinals will look for their fourth straight win on Saturday after an impressive series win against the Minnesota Twins.

The offense came alive and the Cardinals held the twins to only one run on the back of great pitching from Andre Pallante. The Cardinals will look for their second straight series win as they look to find themselves back in the National League playoff race.

Saturday, August 24th: Sonny Gray vs. Pablo López

The Cardinals will look to Sonny Gray (11-8, 3.91) to clinch the series for the team on Saturday. The team's staff ace will face his former team from a year ago for the first time since signing a multi-year contract with St. Louis. Gray pitched great for the Twins in his time with the organization and was the runner-up last season in the American League Cy Young Award race.

The Twins will look to rebound and get back in the American League Central division race on Saturday. The team is currently holding the final wildcard spot but is two games behind the Cleveland Guardians for the division lead. They will go with Pablo López (11-8, 4.47) on the hill for game two against the Cardinals.
