Skip Bayless Sets The Record Straight on Caitlin Clark's Turnover Problem

Caitlin Clark is shattering all-time WNBA records in her first professional season with the Indiana Fever.

Clark already has more assists than any rookie in league history, and is on track to set the overall single-season record. She also set an all-time record with 19 dimes in a single game.

Unfortunately, these assists come with some big-time turnover numbers as well. Clark leads the WNBA with 5.5 turnovers per game, setting a new all-time single-season turnover record with her 138th on July 14.

While these turnover numbers aren't ideal, Clark is doing more than enough to counteract them with her Rookie of the Year-caliber performance on the court.

Skip Bayless made that argument on Saturday.

"As I pointed out on this week's 'Skip Bayless Show,' Caitlin has already shattered the WNBA single-season record for turnovers WITH 12 GAMES LEFT. But I forgive many of them bc they're so close tobeing spectacular passes. She also leads the league in assists ... and WOW passes," Bayless wrote on X.

Clark will look to minimize her turnover numbers as the Fever close out the year and enter the postseason.
