Stars' Roope Hintz Goes Viral With Bold Wedding Suit Choice

If you're bold and trying to come up with a distinctly unique fit for the next wedding you'll be attending, don't hesitate to ask Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz for some advice.

Hintz made the rounds on Saturday, August 24, thanks to the significant fashion statement at his wedding. The Stars playmaker opted to sport a bold, half-black, and half-white suit that quickly became a topic of conversation online.

Not only did Hintz go for the wild suit choice, but the 27-year-old Finnish player also sported a freshly shaved head. It's fair to say the combination of the buzzcut and his unique outfit stood out during his special day, drawing attention from fans and armchair fashionistas alike.

The original poster of Hintz's picture sporting the suit was X user @strangesouts , who added a hilarious sentence on top of it, writing "roope baby what is you doin."

Hintz’s unique wedding attire wasn’t the only matrimonial event for the Stars this offseason, however. Teammates Jamie Benn, Jake Oettinger, and Mason Marchment also tied the knot.

Stars’ head coach Pete DeBoer commented on the team’s growing sense of camaraderie in April , saying “This is becoming a really big family team,” and adding, “There’s a lot of new marriages, young couples, babies, things like that. They’re all fantastic life events.”

Hintz appeared in 80 of the 82 regular-season games played last season scoring 30 goals and 65 points and carrying his strong performance into the postseason.

In the playoffs, Hintz remained a vital part of the Stars lineup, contributing 6 goals and 8 points in 15 playoff games before the Stars crashed out of the postseason in the Western Conference Finals at the hands of Stanley Cup runner-ups the Edmonton Oilers in six games.
