Week 0 of college football certainly did not disappoint. We saw another season opener overseas, Nick Saban's first College GameDay full-time, and a massive upset between Georgia Tech and No. 10 Florida State .

This week, in an interview with Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer, he would be asked about if he wanted to take the team overseas to play a season opener. Alabama has never played a game outside of the country.

The clip of the interview was provided by Alabama Crimson Tide | AL.com on X.

"I think there's a right time," DeBoer said. "When you've been in a program for a while and you want to continue to expand... I think it would be tough for the first year, or two, to do something like that. But, you know, there's just more and more things you want to put in front of these guys and experiences you want to give them. So, I think that's pretty cool."

On Saturday, in Dublin, Ireland, we would see a massive upset where unranked Georgia Tech would defeat the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles, who was heavily favorited, along with Clemson , to win the ACC.

Seeing Alabama play a game overseas would assuredly be a new step for the program, and, as DeBoer mentioned, would provide new experiences for the players.
