Chiefs' Could Get Off to Rough Start

Getting off to a good start is something that every team looks to do each season, but it might be hard for the Kansas City Chiefs to do.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon , he goes through the biggest talking point for each NFL team ahead of the start of the regular season. For the reigning Super Bowl champions, he thinks there is a chance they could get off to a slow start this season.

"Key injuries this month on both sides of the ball do have me wondering if the Chiefs will struggle out of the gate," Gagnon writes. "It's never easy having a Super Bowl target on your back under any circumstances, and this somewhat disjointed team has the Ravens, Bengals and Falcons right off the bat."

On top of the Chiefs having three tough opponents to start out the season, the team has had a rough go with injuries the last few weeks.

Most notably, new wide receiver Marquise Brown went down with a shoulder injury after his first catch against the Jacksonville Jaguars the Week 1 of the preseason. He is listed as doubtful for the team's first game on Sep. 5. Chris Jones is also on the injury report with a shoulder injury, and he is questionable for the battle against the Ravens.

The Chiefs will have to adjust to playing without some of their key contributors. But if there is one team that can do it and get off to a good start, it is the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.
