Kentucky has another target who will be on campus for a visit this fall. According to HS Top Recruits on X , the Wildcats will be hosting 2026 top 40 forward Miikka Muurinen for a visit on September 14. This comes after Kentucky offered the forward nearly a month ago.

Muurinen also has a couple of other visits scheduled for the future. He will take a trip to Utah on September 7 before his trip to Lexington, with a visit to Duke on September 27-28 following his Kentucky visit. The forward has seen a big rise in his stock this summer playing in the 16U circuit of Nike EYBL for Brad Beal Elite, helping earn them a Peach Jam title in July. Now, he's focusing on his recruitment more ahead of the start of his high school season.

With his size, blocking is a valuable strength for Muurinen, and he talked about his game in a recent interview with 247 Sports . "Blocking shots has been the most consistent thing for me as a player," Muurinen said. "It's like an instinct for me, it comes natural. I've been working on my physicality, too. I've been trying to play slower and trying to think more throughout the game." The 6-10 forward has received a slew of offers since the beginning of July. He has received offers from programs such as Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama, UConn, Illinois, Michigan, Texas Tech, UCLA, Utah, Cincinnati, BYU, and many others.

Mark Pope and his staff will look to make a good impression on Muurinen when he gets his first look at campus and the facilities in September.
